KDS is a specialist in the design, development and manufacture of power transmission systems for heavy duty high torque application.

KDS is a supplier of transmissions for armored and logistic vehicles, both tracked and wheeled. It is a design house for power-packs, using engines and cooling groups of the customer’s choice, as well as a providing of logistic support packages to specialist applications worldwide.

KDS innovative technology has led it to develop tracked vehicle transmissions to meet the rigorous demands of operational use. KDS works closely with leading engine manufacturers to ensure optimal mobility for wheeled and tracked applications.

Transmissions solutions have been developed and manufactured by KDS for specialist off highway vehicles such as armored personnel carriers, covering a power range of up to 800HP.

In view of the very specific missions that off road vehicles are required to undertake, an optimal transmission system can be configured from tested and proven assemblies for nearly any application. These assemblies are then integrated in a housing that can be tailored to make allowance for the available space envelope.

KDS designs its drive systems with future technology in mind and its solutions are developed with a common core for use in the commercial marketplace.
